Michelle Williams for Band of Outsiders

Band of Outsiders look book images featuring Michelle Wlliams. Calling Williams a "Boy' girl, for sure," Band of Outsiders' founder John Sternberg recently shot the actress wearing the Boy line. Perfect.

The set up for the shoot is that Michelle is snooping through someone else... in really cute clothes.

I think, I really need to find my Polaroid camera for my holiday day and maybe i'll snoop through someone's place eiei :D

Kayt Jones

I think I'm a fan of Kayt Jones. To me her works are mixture of feminine vibes and a little dose of mystery. Isn't that what drive men crazy ?
Jones also have interesting biography. At seventeen she spent the money she had saved for a car on a Leica M4. Then her fate was sealed. After that she studied films and photography in London Wesminister. Her love in cinema give another ingredient to her photography style, the feeling of a still from the movie that was never shot. Today Jones lives with her husband, an actor, and her daughters in LA.
I secretly hope that one day she would show us her love in cinema by making a beautiful movie like those in her photos.

Christopher Kane S2009

It takes a unique mind to watch Planet of the Apes and use it to start a fashion collection, but that's where Christopher Kane jumped off for Spring. He liked the apes' leather tunics. "It was that, and then The Flintstones, Raquel Welch in One Million Years B.C., and then Dian Fossey and her gorillas," he said. And, like all little boys, Kane loved playing with toy dinosaurs. Hence, the stegosaurus shoes.

Devendra Banhart

When my friends was talking about India the first thing that popped in to mind was DEVENDRA BANHART musician/artist. Of course, one of my all time favorite band.

Growing up in Caracas, Venezuela, and Los Angeles, Devendra Banhart was always playing music and drawing. But it wasn't until his brief stay at the San Francisco Art Institute that the disciplines became his constant companions. With the encouragement of poet and SFAI professor Bill Berskon, Banhart began experimenting with all kinds of art. He also began recording songs around that same time, the first Banhart material on his Young God imprint in October 2002. Oh Me Oh My... was an immediate critical hit, and comparisons to legends of songwriting, eclecticism, and tragedy were frequent (Tim Buckley, Syd Barrett, Marc Bolan, et al.). The Black Babies EP arrived in 2003, followed by Banhart's first full-length, Rejoicing in the Hands, in April 2004. Young God released its companion, Niño Rojo, in September. Acclaim for both was nearly unanimous, and Banhart's audience continued to expand. He jumped to XL for September 2005's Cripple Crow, an ambitious set and his most sonically expansive album up to that point. Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon continued in that vein, recorded at Banhart's new home studio in Topanga Canyon.

This are some of my favorite songs:

When The Sun Shone On Vetiver

When the sun shone on vetiver
When the sun shone on vetiver
When the sun shone down
Well they're silver and they're gold
Yeah they're silver and they're gold
Yeah they're silver and cold...

In Thailand, my baby waits for me
In Graceland, my baby waits for me
In Spainland, my baby waits for me
In Ireland, my baby waits for me
In no lands, my baby waits for me...

Lyrics by Devendra Banhart
