One of the blog said that what make And God Created Woman (1956) so good is eye-popping colors, cinema scope and Brigitte Bardot. I couldn't agree more. In this movie Bardot and her look captivated everything. If you want to see Bardot style, this is one of the movie to watch! This movie maked Bardot who is 22 years old at the time, the symbol of a sex kitten. We have to admit that Roger Vadim, the director (and husband at the time), has an eye for an icon discover. (In case you don't know, the others are Catherine Deneuve and Jane Fonda)
Now what I love in this movie ? Brigitte was looking for how to be sexy and still looked very stylish. I'm not talking about when she's lying naked in the courtyard. But I'm talking about her attitude, her out-of-place locks and her body-con-but-not-too-short dresses that all combine to make her looked very stylish. She make a button up dress look very sexy. This movie is also one of the landmark in fashion history. So if you are into fashion, don't ever miss it!!
