It said on the cover "divinity, tribalism and primitive symbolism - graphically represented through the dialogue of reference between fashion and imagery". Indeed imagery is the main feature in this lookbook. I've never seen such an artistic lookbook like this before. Have you ?

Too Much Good Taste Can Be Boring

Niki once post about Jonas Lofgren illustration before and I just so thrill to find his work again in the new issue of Lula magazine. This time he bring us the lovely drawing of fashion icons whose style is about "more is more". These girls (and grown up women) remind us of the creativity in dressing up that sometime we all forgot. I just love what Diana Vreeland use to say "Too much good taste can be boring"

I always not sure whether the film in my analog camera is proper loaded. So I got bad habit of open it in the middle of the roll but the effect is just incredible. These are my two friends of Maison de Sado .

The Great Unexpect Clemente

The Great Expectation by Alfonso Cuaron is one of my favorite movie of all time. All the paintings that Finnegan Bell (Ethan Hawke) draws is so inspiring, you feel like you being drag into those eyes. Not until recently that I found out who is the painting behind all this. He's an Italian painter who made great name, Francesco Clemente. He did some paintings in collaborate with Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat in the 80s. Now his art is evolved greatly from this collection. It's become a lot more mature and a lot more provocative. If you like this, recommend you to googled his name to know him better.

Another thing I love about the movie is the soundtrack. I keep listening til the cassette is stretched (well, if you can remember how our life are in the 90s !!!).

I know this is way to long for a post but i just can't resist. I love all her photos. This wonderful photography is Pamela Hanson who also directed Charlotte Ronson commercial ads too. I love how her photos show many angles of a girl life and still it looks beautiful. Say no more, just check her site and don't forget to see the series of Donald and Annabelle love life part 1, 2 & 3 . It's just so lovely.
